Requirements
Successful completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner masters program that qualifies for certification status in Michigan
Current license, certification, or registration in the State of Michigan
PA certification (NCCPA)
NP certification (AGACNP or ACNP only)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Performing initial examinations and evaluations
Developing and implementing patient care plans
Managing acute and chronic surgical conditions
Monitoring treatment efficacy and adjusting plans as needed
Performing bedside procedures as appropriate
Collaborating closely with supervising surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
