Description:

Join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming lives through exceptional weight management care. As a Lead Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Weight Management, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients on their journey to better health along with expanding program initiatives, across Central PA, Market. Must have the ability to sit on committees and act as a liaison, for initiatives within the department as it relates to the program. Experience in managing multiple practices setting, is strongly desired. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to UPMC's mission of providing **Life Changing Medicine**. You will lead a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and innovative setting. Must have capability to travel to multiple sites, if needed and required.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant, with a focus on bariatric or weight management care is required
• Proven leadership experience across multiple locations is strongly preferred
• Conducting patient assessments and develop personalized wight management plans
• Provide education on nutrition exercise and lifestyle changes
• Monitor and track patient progress, and outcomes and adjust treatment plans
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Stay up to date on evolving treatment protocols and best practices
